2003年获香港中文大学理学博士学位。美国化学会J. Phys. Chem. C、英国皇家化学会J. Mater. Chem.等杂志审稿人;河南省优秀教师、河南省学术技术带头人。主持3项国家自然科学基金面上项目,参与1项重大研究计划培育项目;以第一发明人获授权发明专利17项,申请国际发明专利1项。共发表SCI收录论文160余篇,其中超过60篇发表在《J. Am. Chem. Soc.》等一区杂志,总引用2419次,他引次数2400余次。
